By accessing or using The Terrace (the “The Terrace (Est. 1977)”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”). If you do not agree with any of these Terms, please refrain from using the Lounge
1. MEMBERSHIP
1.1 Application Process
Membership applications can be submitted through the official website or via the link provided in the Instagram bio.
Upon request, application forms may also be sent directly to clients via email. Requests can be made in person or by contacting the mobile number.
1.2 Eligibility
Membership to The Terrace (Est. 1977) is exclusive to individuals who meet the following criteria:
Must be at least 21 years old.
All applications will be reviewed and either approved or rejected by The Terrace (Est. 1977), in line with the guidelines provided by REHC.
1.3 Application Approval
Approved applicants will receive an official confirmation email welcoming them as members.
Following approval, each member will be issued a lanyard containing their membership number, name, and photograph.
1.4 Membership Fees
Membership is complimentary for the first year upon approval. Renewal fees will be announced during the year and communicated to members in advance.
1.5 Membership Scope
At present, the benefits of this membership are limited to access and use of The Terrace (Est. 1977) facilities. Additional privileges, including but not limited to enhanced access within the Rashid Equestrian & Horseracing Club (REHC) and exclusive third-party deals or offers, may be introduced and announced progressively throughout the year. This will include information about race calendars, Elevated Race policies, and upcoming events at The Terrace (Est. 1977).
2. CODE OF CONDUCT
2.1 General Behavior
Respectful, courteous, and professional behaviour is expected at all times. Disruptive, illegal, or disrespectful actions may lead to suspension or termination of membership.
2.2 Dress Code
Smart casual attire is required. Management reserves the right to refuse entry for dress code violations.
2.3 Alcohol & Substances
Alcohol must be consumed responsibly and in accordance with Bahraini law. Illegal substances and intoxication are prohibited.
2.4 Guests
Members may invite up to three guests with 24-hour prior approval including name, nationality, ID/passport number, and contact info. Members are responsible for their guests.
2.5 Smoking Policy
Smoking is only allowed in designated areas.
3. ACCESS & FACILITIES
3.1 Operating Hours
Open during times specified by REHC management. Hours may vary during events, holidays, or special circumstances.
3.2 Right to Refuse Access
The Terrace may refuse entry to any person for safety, policy violation, or behavioural reasons.
3.3 Use of Facilities
Facilities are for personal use only. Some may require advance booking or fees. REHC reserves the right to restrict access as needed.
4. TERMINATION AND SUSPENSION
4.1 Member Initiated Termination
Members may cancel their membership at any time by written notice. No refunds are issued.
4.2 Termination by The Terrace
Membership may be suspended or terminated for:
Breach of these terms
Inappropriate or illegal activity on site
Non-payment of any applicable future fees
Conduct deemed damaging to the community
4.3 Suspension
Access may be suspended temporarily or permanently pending investigation.
5. LIABILITY & INDEMNITY
5.1 Liability
The Terrace is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages unless caused by its own negligence or misconduct.
5.2 Indemnity
Members agree to indemnifyThe Terrace (Est. 1977) and its partners against claims arising from their actions or breaches of these Terms
6. PRIVACY
6.1 Personal Data
Personal data is processed in line with the Lounge’s Privacy Policy and used for operational and communication purposes.
6.2 Data Sharing
Data will not be shared without the member’s consent unless legally required.
7. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS GOVERNING LAW
7.1 Modifications to Terms
These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued access indicates acceptance of updates.
7.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
